Good morning Patrice and Happy Mother’s Day,
Just thought I would take a couple of minutes to check in with you on Ashley and Holly. All is going well with the girls. They got their last set of shots last week. Ashley weighed in at 32 lbs and Holly at 33. Both are doing really well. They now use the doggie door to come and go as they like (thank heavens it’s gotten warmer) and spend most of the morning in the sun. If you can believe it they both still sleep in the playpen and don’t attempt to get out at night. They will sometimes “snort” at me if they want out during the night, but usually they don’t even get up until we do.
We are getting the walking down fairly well, still want to wrestle some but it is getting much better. They have learned to sit and shake hands (very polite, they even know it is the right paw you shake with), now working on the down. Ashley has it figured out but Holly doesn’t like the submissive position very much but we will get there since it does get a little easier each time. They are great and so loving. Anyway just wanted you to know all is good here in Wylie and hope you enjoy the day. I haven’t loaded any new pictures but when I do I’ll try to send a couple just to show what “big” girls they have become. Soon they won’t be puppies any more. Glad to read how well Sassie is doing and always enjoy looking in the gallery shots.
Take care and again Happy Mother’s Day (you do have a lot of babies!),Liz________________________________________________

Good evening!I thought I'd send a little update about miss Maltie. She is such a love and just quite the funny little character! She and Jake continue to be practically inseparable, two peas in a pod- though little Jake still thinks he's the big dog around the house! Maltie has taken to playing soccer- she loves to dribble the ball with her paws and loves to steal it from you as you dribble it! Maltie continues to do wonderfully with her obedience and walking on leash. She is so smart- too funny the way her eyes and ears perk up at certain words- "walk", "outside", "play", etc. She has also taken to playing in a little baby pool we got the pups, as well as in the sprinklers. I've attached a few recent pictures- one of the pictures, Maltie thought the cooler we had drying was a great place to hang out!; some are from last week, Cody helped with his brother's soccer team practices... and the pups helped as well!
I know that puppies' little personalities can be molded in their new families' homes, but some of their traits are bred in them and so it's nice to read stories about how different pups are doing. I knew Maltie was a smart little girl, but after getting her and then reading the story of Buddy that you posted on your website, I most definitely made a mental note- not only is she smart, but she's got smart genes, too! Hope the puppies and everybody's happy and having fun!

Just saying hello!Saturday, April 5, 2008 11:46 AM
From: "Caitlyn Carrell"
To: "Honeys Breeders"I took Honey in for her 3 month check up and she gained 6 pounds! She now weighs 14 pounds! She is getting so big, and prettier every day. She is pretty much potty trained she only has a couple of accidents every now and then, and she can sit and we are working on shake right now. She is so well behaved, when i took her to the vet we had a different doctor and he just couldn't get over how good she was and how beautiful she was. He asked if we were planning on breeding her and he thought we should because she was just so beautiful!
She is such a little sassy girl. We love her more and more every day! Thank you so much, there should be more breeders like you out there.

there ya go,
loadsa pics 4 ya, I love the ones of George in the blanket....the transition from awake to asleep lol, you can do anything to him and he just laps it all up ,,,,
The pic of them in their crate in the car was July the 2nd we went to broken bow Oklahoma to meet up with the mother and father in law cos they rented an amazing cabin and we stayed overnight then came back the following day, the pupsters had their jabs at the vets the day b4 and were good to go out and they did fantastic (only 2 pees and 1 poo in the cabin) and they did superb on the ride there n back too, jezzy whined like a brat but the boxer pups just rode it out like champs, these little terrors are just amazing. They look and act just perfect and are a credit to you and Donald and your dogs, looking at their mannerisms when they are outside (and in too) they are really akc and kc quality dogs and are every bit as classy as Frazer was, they have an air of almost regal stature about them (royalty) I cant think of the word I am trying to say but they are just super confident and they are starting to terrorize jezzy outside lol.
I think you need to up your prices a little to reflect the high quality and perfect temperament of your impeccable puppies and you can cut and paste my comments onto your site if you wish because we are all deeply in love with our little boy n girl! and know that they dont need any certificate to win shows cos they would wipe the floor with any competition anyway (well still workin with the potty training, lol) their muscle tone already is crazy, they are gonna be strong dogs....well enough praise already, you wont get outta the door with your heads too big lol. thank you! Patrice-
Chico is doing great! I need to go get him weighed again, he is getting bigger every day. He is a solid little guy!! We are beginning to think that we should have named him Tank or something, he probably weighs close to 20 lbs.
Anyways, we are going back to the vet for some more shots probably Friday! Other than that, the accidents in the house are getting fewer and fewer...and he hops all over the bed when he has to go out at night. He is starting to sit by the door when he needs to go out. I'm thinking about putting a little bell by the door and teach him to ring it when he needs to go out...he is a really smart dog. He almost has the sit thing, you have to say it a couple of times before he does it. We need to work on come and stay....
When he goes on walks he carries the leash in his mouth - I need to take him out during the day so I can get a picture of it. It's hilarious. It's almost like he doesn't like it pulling on his neck so he carries it in his mouth for some extra room...
Talk to you later!

This family bought the deaf white male boxer pup from Maggie and Tysons litter. Donna also came back a few weeks later and bought our last available puppy as a playmate for their Mitchell. In an update letter she says they are getting along great and Mitchell is wanting to play all the time with the new pup.

Hello, well I thought I would drop u a line or two and let u know how Mitchell is doing. David and I love this dog. Mitchell has brought us so much joy. Like we are new parents with a new baby. I know when you have a baby it is always left up to mom to tend to till Dad comes in , well, I do it Mon. thru Fri. and then David takes over on the weekends and I tell you what I need it, I am so thankful for him taking that on and spending time with Mitchell.
Mitchell is doing very well with sign language he has learned to sit, what "good boy" is and "no" and "stop", we are in the process of learning "toy, potty time and eat".
I bought a couple of great books. They are called: Hear, Hear A Guide To Training a Deaf Dog and Living with a Deaf Dog,I would recommend them to anyone. I am also going on the internet and learning some. It is so exciting this is a great challenge and loving every bit of it. I am training him to alert me when he needs to go potty I bought a bell and hung it on the back door and teaching him to ring it when he needs to go potty, not working yet but with time it will.
I want to thank you so much for letting me be Mitchell's mom and I can't wait till he learns so much that he out smarts me lol.
Everybody loves this dog he has become very popular around here.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
David, Donna, Nellie, Diesel, Mitchell and Rome

Hi Patrice,
Just thought I'd let you know that Bentley is doing great. He's has been great with going potty and sleeping through the night. He loves my Shihtzu, Zoe. They play together. Did you know he loves to watch TV? He will sit in front of the TV and just be so mesmerized. It's funny. He received a great bill of health from the vet on Friday. All's good. I will send some pics soon.

Hello Mrs Pat!
Just letting you know Bella has had her first visit with our vet and everything went well. She was instantly scooped up by a tech who has three Boxers herself. And her pad training is going ok also. Of course we've had accidents but all in all, I think she's getting the idea. I will send pictures soon.
Thank you so much for Bella.

>Patrice,
> I just wanted to email you about how we are doing with our new puppy Bowen. He is adjusting very well. We are working on potty training and doing pretty good. He's starting to grasp the concept of pottying outside. He already knows how to sit and stay! He learned so quickly. He has never been a skittish or afraid puppy and I think that has a lot to do with how you raised him. He goes up to people and other dogs with no fear. (other vaccinated dogs of course!) He gets along so well with our other 3 yr old boxer Reggie. He just jumps and wrestles with him like he's a big dog & not a little puppy! We've taken him to see our vet already & they said he looked great. He's due for more shots in a couple weeks. We just could not be happier with our puppy! Thank you so much! i'm attaching some pictures along with this email!
Thank you,
Jessica & Kevin

Hi Pat!
It has now been a month since we brought Bella home. She is adjusting extremely well. And she's so smart! Already, she knows 'sit' and 'stay'. I can get up to 20ft away from her and everyday the distance increases. Housetraining is going well too. She doesn't know how to tell us she needs to go so I try to keep an eye on her and let her out as soon as she wakes up. Kennel training isn't going well, though. My kids dont understand that she needs to stay in the kennel. So the only time she is in there is while we are gone. And I guess my husband and I don't help either; she sleeps in our room on her own little bed and once a nite I get up and let her out. She is growing like a weed and is as healthy as a horse..eats like one too! We plan to have her chipped on August 3rd.
Here are a few pictures for you to do with as you wish. The second and third are in the kids bathroom after our daughters' bath one nite. Bella tried to figure out where the draining noise was coming from.
Thank you for our sweet puppy.

Hi Pat!
I wanted to send you a cute pic of our baby. Last vet visit a couple weeks ago she was 13.4 pounds. She's doing great!
I also wanted to tell you just how amazing a boxer you handed us. She is just perfect. It took her three weeks to be potty trained!!! She is full of love always as a boxer should be. She knows bed time is crate time. Except when she needs to go out at 6:30, then she curls up between Peter and I. After giving us her good morning kisses she is back down till we get up. She's smart. Gets into things she is not supposed to, but after a handful of stern "nos", she gets it.
I am so in love with my Mya!!!!Thank you!!!!! You breed some smart little babes!!!Nat

This family Donna S. and her daughters from Opelousas Louisiana took home a puppy from Sassy Too' & Sampsons litter born March 10th 2011. This is a portion of an update email she sent about her puppy Tupelo.
June 6, 2011 8:18:58 PM
"Tupelo is wonderful he is just the biggest comedian. He keeps us in stitches with his innocent little eyes and clumsy demeanor. His run is so funny. He also loves to take a shower. He is so smart. He knows "sit", "kennel", and "stay" if there isn't food involved. He always has that "I didn't do it" look in his eye. Lol. Thank you guys so much for devoting your time and love to this breed and insuring you turn out great pups". Donna

This family the W. family from N. TX close to McKinney TX. have actually bought 3 puppies from us over the years, all of which are spayed & neutered, just wonderful pet boxers. This family is wonderful and when they came back to get their 2nd Boxer Abby from us they brought back Beau their first boxer from us so that I could visit with Beau (very handsome dog from Sandee & Sampsons litter from 2009)..Then when they came back to get their white male puppy for their adult daughter , they brought Abby back to visit with us (she is absolutely Gorgeous with a capital G). I just love this family and are a true example of the type of family that just makes me so proud.,,,,,,,,:)

"I always tell people how great you are. When we take the boxers out, people compliment us on how beautiful they are. We can also tell the great genetics involved when we see the difference in other Boxers. We love all of them, but yours are superior in temperament, intelligence and appearance. This will be the last for while, but we have appreciated you granting our requests, on pictures and going the extra mile. I am sorry that a few bad breeders have made it so difficult for you, with that new law that has passed..
Your pups are worth more than others.. You have plenty of testimonials on your web site and are always adding more. That's what attracted me to your pups in the beginning. We have not been disappointed. We will see you on the 3rd of February, and thanks again! Brian W."
