Health Guarantee:
K & Js Country Pups/ owner- operator Patrice Hinsley (herein referred to as Breeder) has made every effort to provide you with a healthy puppy. I guarantee this puppy is purebred from the parents stated above and registerable with one of these applicable pure breed registries AKC, UKC or CKC . The Breeder guarantees that all vaccinations and dewormings and vet exams have been given as stated on the pups vaccination/ exam health records provided. . This puppy is guaranteed for 48 business hours after the date of sale against highly contagious diseases and guaranteed for 1 year from the whelping date against life threatening congenital / hereditary birth defects. We expect the Buyer to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 48 business hours (2 days) of taking possession of the puppy. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary congenital defect at this first exam, the Breeder must be notified immediately by phone call. The Breeder will offer a replacement puppy of comparable age with same registry and same price and no money will be refunded. This is subject to availability, breeders choice first, buyers 2nd.
This guarantee does not include : undescended testicles, injuries, fleas, mites, ringworm, kennel cough, hernias, or any intestinal worms/parasites, as they are common in dogs and puppies and under normal conditions are not considered life threatening and do not fall under the definition of a life threatening congenital birth defect. The Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper, or Corona Virus after 48 hours after the sale, as these are highly contagious diseases and they can be contracted immediately after leaving the Breeders premises. PLEASE SEE NOTE IMMEDIATELY BELOW.
BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: You must keep your new puppy away from unvaccinated dogs or public places where other dogs frequent since communicable canine disease are easily contracted, until such time as your veterinarian has finished the booster vaccinations for this puppy and states it is safe and fully immunized. Failure to abide by this one rule will put your new puppy at considerable risk of contracting a deadly canine disease such as Parvo virus. The vaccinations started here at our premises / or our vets office does not guarantee full immunities. YOU / the buyer, MUST follow up with your vet and get the booster vaccines done on your new puppy in a timely manner and per your vets instructions to insure the new pups continued healthy status.
If within one (1) year of whelping date, a life threatening congenital defect is found by a licensed veterinarian, the Buyer must notify the Breeder, by phone , within 48 hours of the findings. The Buyer must provide, at his/her own expense, a signed statement scanned and emailed to breeder from a licensed veterinarian stating his findings and this defect in full. The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian bills associated with the puppy incurred by the Buyer. The Breeder will then offer a replacement puppy of same or comparable registry and cost and no money will be refunded, if the Breeders veterinarian concurs with the Buyers veterinarian findings. The puppy in question must be returned to the Breeder in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the expense of the Buyer along with Registration Papers (if registered) Transfer paper if applicable and Pedigree Papers if supplied. A replacement puppy will be subject to availability and agreed upon by both the Breeder first and then the Buyer second.
Injury is not covered under this contract. No replacement pup will be offered for replacement of original pup due to an injury.
In the unlikely event of the pups death in the first year due to a congenital , hereditary defect, a signed statement from a licensed veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the Breeder. If cause is unknown, a necropsy is required at the expense of the Buyer to determine the outright cause. Upon receipt of a signed statement from the veterinarian on cause or reason for death of the puppy, and signed statement adheres to the restrictions of this contract as being of congenital hereditary nature and stated in writing as the immediate and outright cause of death, there will be a replacement puppy offered of comparable cost and equal registration. If in the event there are no puppies available to choose from at the time, the buyer will then be placed on a waiting list for the first suitable replacement puppy from same or comparable registry which becomes available ..
Buyers Responsibilities:
A deposit of half of the full cost of the puppy must be received to secure and reserve your chosen puppy , this deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. The remaining amount must be paid in full in cash on pick up day. We will not take personal checks for final payments. If personal delivery is agreed upon there will be a delivery charge based on mileage. This delivery charge is expected along with the final balance due on the puppy at the day of delivery in cash. This signed contract is your receipt of full payment. TOTAL cost of any delivery fee must be agreed upon by the buyer and the buyer must reply by email or by phone that this cost is agreed upon before any transfer/ delivery of puppy will take place.
